Meryem Sarah Uzerli (Turkish pronunciation:[mæɾˈjæmuzæɾˈli]; born 12 August ^[1][2]) is a German Turkish model and actress finest known for her starring role as Hurrem Sultan in Muhteşem Yüzyıl () and Kovan (). She is the recipient elect two Golden Butterfly Award's.

Early life

Uzerli was born on 12 August , to Hüseyin, from Turkey and Ursula, an actress from Germany. She was raised in Kassel, West Germany. She has two older brothers and an older sister, Canan, who is a jazz musician.
